SAFE HAVENS TIMELINE

Doctor Manfred Gelens, together with top benefactors and donations from private leaders, opens the first Safe Haven location in Los Angeles, California. Within six months, twelve other locations open, spreading until one exists in every major city hub around the world. Active employees for the Haven start to search out what becomes common in human lexicon: The Requited, newly developed abilities within traumatized civilians around the world. The Havens offer shelter, training and guidance to those who used to live in shadows.

The United Nations works together with Dr. Gelens to sign into law the legal status and rights of Requited. While some countries continue to develop their own individual reactions, the general understanding provides Requited the ability to exist naturally in the world without being forced to withstand prejudice in the work place, school or housing. Where there is a will, for those who are guarded by Safe Haven, there begins to be a way.

Dimensional rifts tear apart the veil between our universe and that of Citrant, a paralell universe of inverted darkness and toxic composition. The day was long, and hard, until the focal point of hunger in Citrant was fallen 23 hours after initial sighting by civilians. 70 million citizens of Earth are lost to the violence; 10 million new requite awoke at once. Investigations into the cause began by March 27th.

Arrests of 8,356 scientists, lab assistants, government officials and employees are made worldwide. Discourse of a secret agency whose goal was experimentation on the requited begins to run through rumor mills but no official information is made public. A chosen 150 faces become the focal point of the arrests and are charged with crimes against humanity. Set to be put to trial once investigations are over. Requited are proven victims of the invasion as much as the rest of humanity.

Divine-like beings, referred to as The Originals invade the planet and burrow into its crusts. By diverting the chaotic ending of matter within fault lines they use the energy to reverse the process of death. Like this, the world is introduced to a unique problem: lost ones are back and fully alive, but the numbers alone would drive the planet to certain extinction before long. The process to develop new property begins before the investigations lead to a collapse within the Oceanic Region of the world, killing millions. The Returned lose control on October 30th, a day that ends abruptly with the sacrifice of Choi Seungcheol who allows all negative energy to fall into temporary slumber.

After three days of anxious fear that the Returned will be driven to torture and kill the world, multiple efforts around the world put the PĂrxíénbra to perpetual slumber and seperate the souls of the Returned back to where they rightfully belong. The world begins charit efforts and disaster relief worldwide to repair, recover and move on, as they are used to. On November 7th, the trials of Crimes Against Humanity end and all are found guilty.

The first strike of the Final War begins. The rumors break it down to a number of events at once, as wars often are, and true origins are hard to figure exactly. But the war becomes a cold stasis almost as soon as it begins. Death count is minimal, in the hundreds around the world, and for months on end government heads make use of Requited to try and strike out and defend their nations from defeat. Tragedy is avoided on a massive scale when several nuclear bombs are thwarted by Requited and T.E.A.R.S. officers, leading to the end when leaders of several nations are found dead in early September.

Weeks after the end of the war, the world unites to agree on a new decision: the creation of a pocket universe as prison for those who commited crimes continuously against humanity and the absolving of antiquated notions of government. National Leaders are removed from power, local government the highest form of office before the new measures. The World Council is elected into office, making up represntatives from across the world, set into motion as elections that would have once run for Presidents, Prime Ministers and Chancellors now become elections for Representatives.

Lavender light flickers through the sky and the world changes, forever. History is rewritten, in parts. 1898 the first news of superpowered beings began to trickle through the world. By 1914, superheroes were a global urban legend. In 1938, the first study of genetic mutation proves that homosapiens have begun to awaken a metaphysical experience that causes children to be born with new gifts. Low level influencers, manipulators, evokers and sleuths begin to sprout around the world. The following year, a world war begins, sprouting genocide, hatred and an attempt to disarm, remove and disavow the chromosome that creates powers. Atomic bombs are dropped and humanity reaches a new pinnacle. By 1964, every child being born is homosuperior and it has proven not to end there; trauma in these gifted superior children now develops further, creating Requites — people whose gifts are vastly beyond line of sight and begin to exist in ranges beyond comprehension, both physically and spiritually. It takes six years more before parents of gifted children begin to push for new legislation, countries slowly passing laws to incorporate homosuperiors while still leaving Requited as myths now. By 1972, no child is born without gifts; by 1976, the world has accepted the new uprising. From there, the rest is history.
